Tractafric Motors takes over DAF Trucks in Morocco

Tractafric Motors Corporation is now the official distributor of DAF Trucks in Morocco. It takes over from CFAO for sales and after-sales.

The partnership was launched in Casablanca at an evening event at Dar El Bacha. Abdelali Ennaciri, Managing Director of Tractafric Motors Corporation, and Abderrahmane Faraj, Director of Tractafric Véhicules Industriels, welcomed Jan van Keulen, DAF Trucks Operations Director, and Koen van den Bogaard, DAF Regional Director.

Over 10,000 DAF trucks

An estimated 10,000 DAF vehicles are in service in Morocco. Tractafric Motors Corporation now provides their servicing and parts.

The range covers long haul, distribution and specialist work, with the DAF XF, XG, XG+, XD and XB, in the configurations selected for the Moroccan market.

The network in Morocco

In Casablanca, an 8,000 m² site brings together a showroom, a workshop and a parts platform. Branches in Tangier and Agadir handle sales and after-sales. New service points are planned in Fez, Kenitra, Marrakech and Laayoune.

At the Logismed trade show in Casablanca, DAF trucks were shown alongside a FAW 8x4 and a Yutong electric vehicle, the other brands of Tractafric Véhicules Industriels.
